We need your support

The costs of staging the Highland Games are ever increasing and are currently running in excess of £30,000. However it may be surprising to know that even in a successful year like 2012, with fine weather and a good attendance, we still only just managed to recoup our outlay.

We could not continue to offer this extremely important aspect of our cultural heritage were it not for the generosity of our supporters and benefactors. To that end we ask you to please consider becoming a Patron of Bute Highland Games.

As well as offering your much needed financial support, benefits include entry by rosette to the Highland Games, a free programme and access to the exclusive Patrons’ Tent.  The tent provides an uninterrupted view of the Games arena, tables and seating with complimentary coffee and tea, a licensed refreshment bar and even dedicated toilet facilities.

Apart from individual patronage, we have 2 other types of patronage on offer.  Family patronage will provide 2 adult rosettes and 2 junior rosettes whereas for those who are in business, purchase of a Business patronage will provide 2 adult rosettes.

To become a Patron it is simply a case of downloading and completing a copy of the attached form HERE and sending with your cheque to our Patron Convenor, Ralph Anderson, who will post out your rosettes prior to the Games.

Alternatively you can become a patron on the day of the Games by seeing the Patron Convenor in the Patron’s Tent, where your gate entry fee, and if applicable your programme costs, will be reimbursed on payment of the patronage rate.

If you want any further information email Ralph on ralphandjax@o2.co.uk or give him a call on 01700 500007.

We look forward to hearing from you
